Our recycling technologies economically recover metals resulting in a significant benefit to the environment and our customers. Because Republic Services operates under an EPA variance that classifies us as a waste recycler, we’re able to recycle plating by-products containing copper, cobalt, nickel, zinc and tin as well as spent plating solutions, sludges, residues and grindings that otherwise would have required landfill disposal. We work with a network of smelters, refiners and other metal bearing waste recycling operations to ensure the best outlet for your recovered materials.
